The Brooklyn-based band Geese has added shows in Glasgow and London to their tour itinerary.
Their impressive new album ‘Getting Killed’ was released over the weekend, generating a flurry of acclaim on social media. A free performance in Brooklyn led to crowd congestion, while a series of intimate gigs at London’s George Tavern are already being discussed with excitement.
In our 9/10 review, Clash writer Sasha Mills commented:
It's a daring approach that positions the band firmly within the future of rock music. This is what makes Geese’s music so thrilling: they remain steadfast in their vision, continuously exploring the boundaries of their sound.
The band’s 50-date North American tour sold out immediately, with UK shows following suit. Looking ahead, two new British dates have been announced for Glasgow and London.
Geese will perform at Glasgow’s renowned Barrowlands on August 26th, followed by a show at London’s Troxy—a large venue just a short distance from the George Tavern—on September 1st.
