The Kooks performed at London's The O2 Arena for an incredible show last night (October 11th).
This sold-out performance marked the highlight of their ongoing UK tour, attracting long-time fans alongside a large number of younger listeners who discovered The Kooks’ lesser-known tracks on TikTok.
With support from The K’s, the band took the stage to an introduction before launching into ‘Sofa Song’ and ‘Always Where I Need To Be.’
The crowd was treated to popular hits like ‘She Moves In Her Own Way’ and ‘Seaside,’ along with selections from their latest album ‘Never/Know.’
During the performance of their new track ‘Sunny Baby,’ frontman Luke Pritchard addressed the audience: “So listen, it’s a wild time and there’s a lot of pain and confusion happening. You know, music is the healer. Music is what can help us. It’s incredible that we’re all here together.”
Classic songs like ‘Taking Pictures Of You’ and ‘Gap’ turned into energetic anthems, boosted by their resurgence on TikTok.
For the encore, The Kooks revisited some of their biggest hits, including ‘Ooh La’ and ‘Naive.’
