Peaches is back in action.
The electro-pop provocateur made a significant impact on the stifled, heteronormative indie rock landscape in the 2000s by dropping several crucial albums. Recently indicating her comeback, Peaches has now shared the eagerly anticipated news with her fans – a new album is on the horizon.
With a 27-date North American tour scheduled to kick off in February, Peaches has revealed plans for a full-length LP and a new single.
Set to be released next year, ‘No Lube So Rude’ is expected to deliver more sex-positive excitement. Peaches stated:
"When the world is friction, lube isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity. It’s how you convert that friction into pleasure, into power, into pride. I want people to realize that they can still express themselves regardless of who they are or what society says about them. Now more than ever, numerous forces are trying to silence you and make you give up. If this album can help you resist that, then that’s its purpose."
The new single ‘Not In Your Mouth None Of Your Business’ serves as an electro-punk anthem, advocating for bodily autonomy and pushing back against negativity.
Produced with The Squirt Deluxe in Berlin, you can listen to it below.
