Lisa O’Neill has announced her upcoming EP.
The Irish singer-songwriter is in a creative space, starting the year with her haunting version of Bob Dylan’s 'All The Tired Horses', which was recorded for the closing scene of the final Peaky Blinders episode.
Following this, she collaborated with Peter Doherty on the powerful track ‘Homeless In The Thousands (Dublin in the Digital Age)’.
Her six-track EP is set to be released on November 19th through Rough Trade Records.
In advance of this, Lisa O’Neill has unveiled a compelling new song titled ‘The Wind Doesn’t Blow This Far Right’. This track is heavily influenced by our current dystopian reality and is accompanied by a striking video.
The video, directed by Ellius Grace, features musicians including Kae Tempest, Kevin Rowland, Spider Stacey of The Pogues, and Iona Zajac, along with the acclaimed Nigerian/Irish poet Feli Speaks, actresses Olwen Fouéré and Hazel Doupe, and actors John McArdle and Jack Walsh, among others.
Lisa states: “I started writing this song in November 2017 and completed it in January 2025. My song reflects the unsettled times we live in.”
