Courtney Barnett is back with a fresh new song titled ‘Stay In Your Lane.’

After a two-year hiatus since her last release, GRAMMY-winning Australian songwriter Courtney Barnett is back with a brand new single titled ‘Stay In Your Lane’, which is catchy and instantly memorable. This track serves as a follow-up to 2023’s surprise instrumental album ‘End Of The Day’, released alongside the film Anonymous Club, and marks the beginning of what promotional materials have referred to as “her next musical chapter.” Created in Los Angeles, the new song features the production talents of John Congleton (known for his work with St Vincent, Big Thief, and Shame), and will make its television premiere when Courtney performs it on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show next Wednesday (October 22nd). Additionally, ‘Stay In Your Lane’ comes with a striking video directed by Alex Ross Perry, which depicts Courtney channeling Van Gogh and, quite literally, parting with her ear. Check it out below.
