A few months after revealing details about their latest album, The Cribs from Yorkshire are back with another significant single. ‘A Point Too Hard To Make’ is the second song from their upcoming eighth album, showcasing a reflective yet uplifting theme that captures the essence of the brothers’ journey in reconnecting with themselves outside the band. “All that 2000’s damage, basically,” Gary Jarman reflects on the song. “Small-town romantics - years spent yearning for connection, escape, excitement - all experienced in abundance for a whole decade. What happens when the party ends? Where does that leave you? We’ll let you know if, or when, we find the answer. But we still have each other. This song is about that, really a bit of a kitchen-sinker.” The track is featured on their new album ‘Selling A Vibe’ - the follow-up to 2020’s ‘Night Network’ - which will be released on 9th January 2026 and has already been introduced through its lead single ‘Summer Seizures’. You can catch the heartwarming video for ‘A Point Too Hard To Make’, directed by Andy Knowles, below.
