Fredrik Norlindh has released his first pop album in English, titled ‘Contrasting Notes’.

As a songwriter, he belongs to the esteemed lineage of Swedish pop, drawing from the same well of inspiration that influenced icons like ABBA and Robyn. Fredrik enriches his deeply adult pop music with expansive arrangements and radiant vocals.

With ‘Contrasting Notes,’ Fredrik Norlindh steps into the English-speaking music scene, fulfilling his aspirations.

Hints of Depeche Mode's influence can be heard in his synth textures, along with operatic echoes reminiscent of Muse.

Knitted together with cleverness and a comprehensive understanding of pop music history, ‘Contrasting Notes’ presents a delightful collection of 11 songs.

      Fredrik Norlindh remarks…

“‘Contrasting Notes’ is a title that truly reflects my approach to the lyrics and music. To avoid sounding overly confident like Pelle from the Hives, I envisioned the album as though it were created by a dream team of songwriters: John Williams conducting the symphony, Jim Steinman guiding the choirs, Martin L. Gore crafting surprising synth harmonies, Michael Jackson adding rhythmic magic, Timbaland creating innovative beats, Andrew Lloyd Webber weaving narratives in melody, Max Martin designing catchy hooks, Muse embracing bold extravagance, and Lady Gaga capable of fitting any vocal style.”
