The nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards have been announced.
Earlier today, the Recording Academy unveiled the complete list of nominees for the upcoming 68th Grammy Awards, set to take place again in Los Angeles, with live winner announcements from Crypto.com Arena on February 1, 2026.
This year's nominations feature a diverse range of artists, genres, and projects—from established musicians to first-time nominees—spanning pop, country, rap, R&B, Latin, global, jazz, and more.
In a contentious decision, the Grammys have introduced two new categories: Best Album Cover and Best Traditional Country Album; the former Best Country Album category has been renamed to Best Contemporary Country Album.
The nominations were disclosed by previous Grammy winners Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Lizzo, Chappell Roan, and Sam Smith during a livestream on Grammy.com.
Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, and Lady Gaga led the three primary categories: Album, Record, and Song of the Year.
Bad Bunny has made history as the first Latin artist to receive nominations in all three of these categories in the same year, earning a nod in the album category for the second time with his tribute to Puerto Rico, ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos.’
Doechii, last year's winner of Best Rap Album, has secured two nominations this year in the main fields: Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
The competition for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical includes Dan Auerbach, Cirkut, Dijon, Blake Mills, and Sounwave.
In the Best New Artist category, Olivia Dean celebrates a breakout year with a nomination alongside KATSEYE, The Marias, Addison Rae, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young.
