Liverpool’s Grey Streak has released his captivating new album ‘Soft Courage’ in its entirety.
The producer made his initial mark with ‘LIMBO’, a project that showcased Grey Streak’s impressive creative hub. This attracted like-minded individuals, leading to collaborations within the Liverpool music label and series, SINK.
Released now, ‘Soft Courage’ addresses our digital existence and the sense of over-saturation that permeates our daily lives.
This project intentionally reflects the mental overload caused by the presence of these devices, while encompassing diverse genres from classical to 80s synth-pop, techno, and glitch.
A versatile album, it features various voices, particularly from the SINK milieu, while maintaining a unified objective.
Grey Streak states:
“I aimed for the album to embody the raw and unyielding nature of the internet and the effect of endless scrolling on the mind. As someone who suffers from chronic anxiety, I wanted to illustrate the fear and confusion that comes from the continual influx of information.”
