The Hives arrived. The Hives observed. And The Hives… well, they triumphed. Naturally.
As one of the leading live acts within the garage punk scene, the Swedish band possesses a timeless essence, yet their songs seem to improve with age. Their recent album – ‘The Hives Forever Forever The Hives’ – which was released earlier this year, surpasses their previous energy levels while introducing exciting new concepts.
On tour, The Hives made their way to the iconic North London venue, Alexandra Palace, ready to showcase their signature style. Their performance was an exhilarating and consistently entertaining journey through their discography, with the stylish Swedes reinforcing their reputation through a set that blended the finest elements of their celebrated history with contemporary influences.
Photographer Rachel Lipsitz was on hand to capture the excitement up close.
