The indie quartet from High Wycombe, Broken Colours, has unveiled their latest EP titled ‘Could Be Worse’.

This new release arrives nearly ten years after the band's debut EP, during which they have toured extensively across the UK, Europe, and beyond. Continuously exploring new concepts, Broken Colours fuses classic indie rock vibes—akin to Kasabian or The Kooks—with vibrant elements and catchy melodies.

In the last year, Broken Colours has been on an intensive touring schedule, recently sharing stages with artists such as The Blockheads, Jack Bugg, The Zutons, and The Subways.

The new EP ‘Could Be Worse’ marks their return. A lively and bold collection, each track feels like a potential festival anthem, as Broken Colours rise to the challenge of exceeding their previous work.

Out now, the lead single ‘Pretending’ serves as a rallying cry, with Broken Colours stating:

“In an ever-changing modern world, where fame, wealth, and recognition seem easily accessible, it feels as if people will go to any lengths to achieve these. This is the essence of the song ‘Pretending,’ which addresses this very concern. In a society where individuals donate to the homeless merely for video views, it prompts us to question our values, and that’s just one example.”

      Tune in now.
