Robert Smith has been named the 2026 curator for the Teenage Cancer Trust’s annual concert series at the Royal Albert Hall—an initiative established by The Who’s Roger Daltrey to aid the important work of this UK charity. Scheduled from March 23rd to 29th next year, the week-long series will include special performances from Elbow (Monday 23rd), Mogwai (Wednesday 25th), Manic Street Preachers (Thursday 26th, marking the series' 150th show), my bloody valentine (Friday 27th), Garbage (Saturday 28th), and Wolf Alice (Sunday 29th), along with a lineup of prominent comedians on Tuesday, March 24th. Each headliner has been carefully selected by Smith, who shared that his goal was to create “a truly unforgettable, unmissable week - a run of shows to dream about.” He further expressed his gratitude, saying: “I am so thankful to all the artists who accepted my invitation to perform. These will be very special events; every band, both headliners and special guests, along with every comedian, is either legendary or at the peak of their abilities… in many cases, they represent both! It promises to be a fantastic seven nights, and I can hardly wait to experience it all.” Tickets for all seven distinctive shows will be available starting at 9am on Friday, December 12th here; full details of each concert can be found below.
