Danish artist Barbro has released a new track titled ‘What Men Do’.
Barbro is part of a creative surge emerging from Copenhagen’s Rhythmic Music Conservatory (RMC), alongside artists like Astrid Sonne, ML Buch, and Clarissa Connelly, while developing a unique and distinct aesthetic voice.
Her debut album ‘Bad Choices’ was released in 2023, and since then, Barbro has returned to her hometown near Kolding Fjord, transforming the art room of her old school into a DIY studio.
The upcoming album ‘Crossfade’ was created in that creative environment and is slated for release on February 6th.
Currently available, ‘What Men Do’ is a beautifully crafted song that combines enchanting elements with a subtle sense of confrontation. Barbro describes the track as “a confrontation with inherited behaviors, emotional upheaval, and the delicate process of unlearning — encapsulating both vulnerability and resistance simultaneously…”
