EsDeeKid has announced that a contentious remix of his song ‘4 Raws’ by The Chainsmokers will be “deleted”.
The Liverpool rapper’s popularity has surged, particularly with his anthem ‘Century’ achieving global success. As his impactful debut album gains traction, he has become the center of a widely discussed major label bidding war.
Recently, a remix allegedly by EDM duo The Chainsmokers was released, altering his track ‘4 Raws’.
‘4 Raws’ is a beloved track among fans, and the electronic reinterpretation by the producers was met with disapproval – in a viral tweet, one listener labeled it “the worst song ever…”
In response, EsDeeKid decided to take action and promptly requested the remix's removal. In a message on Twitter / X, he stated: “That Chainsmokers remix is getting NUKED…”

There remains some uncertainty regarding who commissioned the remix, whether it was an official project, and if it was even truly released – it seems to have only surfaced on YouTube, and CLASH was unable to locate the remix on Spotify or Apple Music.
True to his word, the controversial ‘4 Raws’ remix has been removed – only unauthorized copies remain available on YouTube, and it’s likely those will also face takedown requests soon.
