The Australian duo Sametime has released their new single, ‘Is This The End?’ – listen now.
Relocating to Brighton in pursuit of their dreams, these two brothers from Australia have embedded themselves in the city's vibrant music scene.
They are close friends with Sam Tompkins and embody a DIY spirit combined with strong pop sensibilities, which they will showcase on their upcoming EP.
Scheduled for release on February 13th, ‘Get Out Whilst You Can’ offers a comprehensive portrayal, blending shimmering melodic elements with compelling lyrics.
The new single ‘Is This The End?’ presents a personal narrative, exploring themes of relocation and isolation while seeking truth.
Tim Aitken shares: “This song is our most personal one yet. It reflects on our initial move to the other side of the world, leaving behind everything familiar. It serves as a diary entry of our feelings during that time. It addresses the sacrifices made in terms of time spent with friends and family, acknowledging the possibility that it could be the last time seeing some of them.”
