JayO and Jordan Adetunji Collaborate on New Track 'History'

"The song revolves around the theme of sharing one's history with another person..."

JayO makes a comeback with his new collaboration with Jordan Adetunji titled ‘History’.

The London artist begins 2026 with a powerful new single that connects him with a long-time friend.

Over the last year, JayO has been consistently releasing polished tracks like ‘Ready’, ‘Hue’, and ‘Turning Me On’, honing his R&B style along the way.

Available now, ‘History’ offers a fresh dynamic, showcasing the interplay between JayO’s vocals and his collaborator Jordan Adetunji.

The songwriter from Belfast, endorsed by Obama, has a long history with JayO, and their synergy shines on this RZ-produced song.

      JayO shared his thoughts:

“I’ve known Jordan for almost five years; it felt more like collaborating with a brother. Teaming up with Jordan was effortless. We both value the craft of music. We relied on each other’s intuition and allowed the song to guide us, resulting in a natural flow. The creation of the track unfolded organically—one idea led to another, RZ initiated the production, and then I composed the hook and verse. We believed Jordan was the perfect fit for the song, and he was thrilled when I shared it with him. The song explores the concept of sharing history with someone, questioning whether they are too good for me or not, which remains uncertain.”
