The Orielles have kept the anticipation alive for their upcoming fourth album ‘Only You Left’ (set to be released on March 13 via Heavenly Recordings) by dropping a new double single, ‘You Are Eating A Part Of Yourself’ / ‘To Undo The World Itself’. Following November's release of ‘Three Halves’, these new tracks are the second and third selections from ‘Only You Left’, which follows their 2022 LP ‘Tableau’. Both songs showcase the band’s signature atmospheric style, crafting gently evolving dreamscapes with soft vocals, jittery percussion, and swelling guitar sounds. ‘You Are Eating A Part Of Yourself’ emerges from the band’s archival recordings, allowing the trio to “unfurl the emotions captured back then, as we listen closely to the body’s organs creating their own symphony and dissonance.” Meanwhile, they've intriguingly referred to closing track ‘To Undo The World Itself’ as a symbol of either “rebirth and reversal” or “outstanding finality.” Additionally, this joint release features an evocative video that spans both tracks, filmed by longtime collaborator Neelam Kham Vela. Here’s the tracklist for ‘Only You Left’:
1. Three Halves
2. Shadow of You Appears
3. Tears Are
4. Embers
5. Tiny Beads Reflecting Light
6. The Woodland Has Returned
7. All in Metal
8. You are Eating a Part of Yourself
9. Whenever (I May Not Feel So Close)
10. Wasp
11. To Undo the World Itself
