Make no mistake - Lady Gaga is undeniably back. The pop sensation revealed her new single ‘Abracadabra’ from her forthcoming seventh album ‘MAYHEM’ during last night's GRAMMY Award ceremony, and it’s an unapologetic, dancefloor-filling anthem reminiscent of her ‘Fame Monster’ era from the late ’00s. "The album began with me confronting my fear of returning to the pop music that my earliest fans adored," Gaga explained, describing the writing process for LG7 as “reassembling a shattered mirror: even if you can’t perfectly fit the pieces together, you can create something beautiful and whole in a new way.” ‘Abracadabra’ is a high-energy dance track featuring an incredibly catchy (yet delightfully nonsensical) chorus, making it the third song shared from ‘MAYHEM,’ following recent releases ‘Disease’ and the GRAMMY-winning collaboration with Bruno Mars, ‘Die With A Smile.’ Additionally, it comes with a visually stunning video filled with Gothic elements and flawless choreography. Aimed at showcasing Gaga’s contrasting light and dark sides, the visual - directed by Parris Goebel, Bethany Vargas, and Gaga herself - showcases 40 dancers merging in equal parts ecstasy and chaos.
