Nadī and Otus unite for the new ‘Freefall’ EP.
The two producers have shared a connection for some time, exhibiting similarities in their approach to dance music. Their chemistry in the studio has clearly resulted in something special—this collaborative EP is now available on all my thoughts.
The four tracks on ‘Freefall’ deliver a powerful experience, transitioning from speed garage to early grime with Bengali vocal samples, bursting with vibrancy and energy, and not constrained by any preconceived notions.
‘Salt’ serves as an energetic introduction, featuring a tight bassline that recalls classic speed garage; ‘Bombay’ incorporates elements of 90s rave, while ‘Pari’ explores the bouncy side of 2-step while still embracing the raw intensity of grime.
The final track, ‘Freefall,’ acts as both a conclusion and title piece—a vibrant closer that leaves you in a euphoric state.
