Oracle Sisters are back with their new album, ‘Divinations.’
Their 2023 album ‘Hydranism’ marked a significant breakthrough for the band, prompting them to embark on an extensive tour. CLASH writer Jazz Hodge had the group experience a fortune-telling session, which yielded quite positive insights.
Bringing this vibe back into the studio, Oracle Sisters began developing new material last year, influenced by the changing environment around them. Notably, the songs reflect their experiences in the U.S. and are driven by sensory exploration.
Lewis Lazar describes the outcome as “imbued with Blakean visions, biblical narratives, and stream of consciousness writing. ‘Divinations’ serves as a tribute to the poetic realm of visionaries and dreamers striving for the landscapes of imagination and the unpredictable during uncertain times. Musically, the album fuses elements of western music, country, French touch, rock n roll, and ethereal folk.”
Now available through their independent label, Wizard Artists, the new album ‘Divinations’ propels their artistic growth. With a brisk collection of 11 tracks, it maintains their pop essence while incorporating a wealth of surprising ideas and captivating sonic textures.
