LAMIA has released her new single, ‘Cobra’.
This track reflects her experiences in the creative scenes of London and Berlin, blending punk influences with a mystical production style. Inspired by deconstructed industrial club sounds, the piece creates a dynamic and visceral listening experience, with an emphasis on experimental soundscapes.
At present, LAMIA is preparing for her forthcoming album, branching out her artistry in new directions. Across the yet-to-be-revealed tracklist, she explores phonk and hip-hop with an alternative twist, enhancing her visual artistry through self-directed music videos. From beginning to end, ‘Cobra’ reveals another layer of the artist’s catalogue, sculpting a dark and enigmatic atmosphere around LAMIA.
Discussing the track, the artist states: “Cobra is punk without guitars. I produced everything on this track; the production, lyrics, and arrangement are all a raw and direct expression of my emotions through sound. It challenges the notion that we are inadequate, and I believe people are tired of feeling this way.”
