The Edinburgh duo No Windows will be releasing their new EP, 'The Great Traitor,' in May.
The band previously released their 'Point Nemo' EP last year and successfully completed a full series of headline shows across the UK and Europe, including a notable performance at The Great Escape’s winter showcase, First Fifty.
After recently supporting Slow Pulp, the duo is eager to take on new challenges and introduce fresh material.
Their upcoming EP, 'The Great Traitor,' is set to be released on May 9th through Fat Possum, featuring the compelling single 'Return.'
Blending elements of 90s-inspired indie rock with notable pop influences, the lyrics delve into Verity Slangen’s experiences with autism.
“It feels quite angry,” she remarks about the song. “The way I perform it live is filled with a lot of emotion. If I had actually penned it [at that time], it likely would have been a considerably sadder, more subdued song.”
