Mt. Joy is set to release their new album titled ‘Hope We Have Fun’ on May 30th.
Divided between Philadelphia and Los Angeles, Mt. Joy has spent nearly a decade creating music collectively. Their upcoming album ‘Hope We Have Fun’ is their fourth studio album, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the band.
Scheduled for release on May 30th, the album features a surge of innovative concepts, including the recent single ‘Highway Queen,’ which is now available as a duet with Grammy-winner Maren Morris.
The new single ‘More More More’ expands on this momentum, showcasing insightful songwriting honed over their decade-long journey from intimate venues to large arenas.
Vocalist Matt Quinn reflects on the forthcoming album by saying...
We’ve all put in an immense amount of effort together and experienced both good and challenging times. Sometimes you look around and realize you’re at Madison Square Garden with these people, and it stirs emotions — it feels surreal, like something you could never have imagined. This album represents how we ventured into this wild world, sometimes successfully and sometimes not. It highlights the importance of maintaining relationships, living an unpredictable lifestyle, and simply expressing, ‘I hope we have fun.’
Stay tuned.
