Nearly three years after the release of her last full-length album, ‘Las Ruinas’, US rapper Rico Nasty has announced her third studio album, titled ‘LETHAL’. This will be her first release under her new label, Fueled By Ramen / Parlophone, with the thirteen-track album set to debut on May 7th, following last year’s ‘Hardc0re Dr3amz’ EP. Rico describes this album as being about self-confidence and disregarding others’ opinions. “It’s about getting doors slammed in your face and being told to do things a certain way repeatedly, yet staying true to yourself and succeeding. That’s what this project represents—it's an homage to yourself,” she explained. Alongside the album announcement, Rico has shared a preview with the track ‘TEETHSUCKER (YEA3X)’, which she notes was “the first song I wrote for the album, and also the first I wrote with Imad Royal.” She added, “We all felt this song was special from the very beginning—what better way to kick off this new era than to come out strong?” Listen to ‘TEETHSUCKER (YEA3X)’ below and check out our cover feature with Rico Nasty from 2020 beneath the player.
