The Horrors reveal the haunting opener 'Ariel' from their album 'Night Life'.

As the release of their new album approaches, The Horrors have unveiled its ominous opening track, ‘Ariel’. Taken from the band's upcoming sixth album ‘Night Life’, set to be released on March 21st via Fiction Records, ‘Ariel’ presents a dark sound characterized by glitchy synths and rhythmic beats. This track follows the previously released singles ‘More Than Life’, ‘Lotus Eater’, ‘Trial By Fire’, and ‘The Silence That Remains’. The band described ‘Ariel’ as a particularly significant piece and a favorite among them in a press release. “It’s probably different from any song we've created before, marking the onset of a new chapter for us. We constantly strive to explore new sonic landscapes and discover fresh sounds, which is perhaps what we enjoy the most about being in The Horrors. ‘Ariel’ was largely created in the studio; we began with a distortion-heavy demo at home and gradually transformed it into something more refined at Holy Mountain with Yves. Amelia then introduced her unique rhythms and vocal fragments, which made us feel like we had arrived at a new destination—the future of The Horrors.”

Along with the release of the new track, the band has announced plans for a series of in-store performances following the album's release later next month. They will perform seven shows across the UK in late March - see below for the dates.
