Black Country, New Road has returned with ‘Happy Birthday’, the second single from their highly anticipated third album ‘Forever Howlong’, set to be released on April 4th via Ninja Tune, following the January release of ‘Besties’. This new track is indeed a continuation of its predecessor, as vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Hyde shares: “While writing ‘Happy Birthday’, I was influenced by Georgia’s song ‘Besties.’ As a result, its structure bears a strong resemblance to it.” Additionally, the song comes with an emotionally resonant stop-motion video directed by Lesley-Anne Rose. Furthermore, BC, NR will be embarking on a tour to perform ‘Forever Howlong’ in its entirety during an intimate series of April dates. Tickets will be available for purchase at 10 am this Thursday, March 6th, and in the meantime, you can watch the visualizer and find details on where to see the band live this year below.
