Dutch Interior Releases New Heartbreaking Track ‘Beekeeping’

In addition to two performances in the UK...

LA County band Dutch Interior has released an emotive single titled ‘Beekeeping’.

Their upcoming album ‘Moneybag’ will be available on March 21st through Fat Possum, showcasing their collective creative process. Each member has a hand in the songwriting, resulting in diverse voices and ideas that culminate in a powerful and intricate work.

The newly released single ‘Beekeeping’ showcases Dutch Interior at their most vulnerable and heartfelt – it narrates the story of a relationship nearing its end, capturing the numbness that often follows a breakup.

Portraying personal blame, ‘Beekeeping’ acts as a melodic confrontation, allowing for an exploration of imperfections.

According to vocalist Shane Barton, the song “reflects on personal shortcomings. It warns against staying in stagnant relationships and serves as a reminder that such actions can be more of a cruelty than a kindness.”

Currently available, ‘Beekeeping’ is also paired with the announcement of Dutch Interior’s first UK tour – see them perform at the End Of The Road and Manchester Psych Festivals.
