Belgian-born songwriter Tamino has launched a new song titled ‘Willow’.
An artist with versatility, music has always been integral to Tamino. His forthcoming album ‘Every Dawn’s A Mountain’ represents the most comprehensive expression of this, set to release on March 21st.
The last preview of the project has now been unveiled, with ‘Willow’ serving as a reflection on loss and resilience.
Using the titular tree as its key metaphor, the track ebbs and flows, propelled by Tamino’s powerful voice.
“The paradox of the willow is that when it dies and loses all its vines, its trunk gets to see the sun,” Tamino explains. “In other words, its heart obtains a new life. The tree no longer weeps and finally finds comfort in the sun’s warmth.”
Available now, ‘Willow’ is paired with a striking performance video filmed in a New York apartment.
