      Irish musician Gavin Friday has announced the release of his new single titled ‘The Church Of Love’.

      The iconic artist, who was previously the lead of Virgin Prunes, made a comeback last year with his album ‘Ecce Homo’, which was produced in collaboration with Soft Cell’s Dave Ball. This marked Gavin's first album release in 13 years.

      Receiving critical acclaim, Gavin Friday is set to embark on a headline tour in April, which includes a performance at EartH in Hackney on April 7th. These will be his first UK headline shows in 17 years, featuring additional new material.

      The single ‘The Church Of Love’ is set for release on April 4th, along with a French cover of Desireless’ ‘Voyage, Voyage’ as the B-side.

      Gavin shared, “For me, ‘The Church of Love’ is a sacred place, a lively sanctuary celebrating all kinds of love: self-love, love for others, romantic love… no matter who you are, you are welcome… ‘The Church of Love’ honors our differences, embraces gender fluidity, and promotes the freedom to be your authentic self – if you dare to love, you belong… Who has the right to define love? ‘Our love is its own.’”
