Alt-rock party starters Nova Twins have announced the release of their third full-length album, ‘Parasites & Butterflies’, set to drop on 29th August through Marshall Records. To commemorate this event, they’ve unveiled a brand new track and confirmed upcoming UK/EU tour dates. This album follows their highly praised 2022 LP ‘Supernova’, and was recorded in Vermont with producer Rich Costey (known for his work with Foo Fighters, Muse, Deftones, and Sam Fender). The first taste of the new project was offered in January with the powerful comeback single ‘Monsters’, and now they’ve ignited excitement further by releasing a second song titled ‘Soprano’ — listen below.
Regarding the album, the Twins explained: “‘Parasites & Butterflies’ explores the relationship between chaos and beauty, embracing both aspects. ‘Supernova’ was about feeling superhuman during a challenging time. With ‘Parasites & Butterflies’, we aimed to highlight something fundamentally human: how vulnerability can empower and reveal truth.
“The contrast of opposites—light and dark—creates a distinctive feeling throughout the album. You’ll encounter songs that inspire you to dance, weep, introspect, or even escape. Life is a constant balance, but the excitement of uncertainty is what truly makes us feel alive.”
After a busy summer of festivals—including a return to Glastonbury—the Nova Twins will embark on a series of headline shows across the UK and Europe this autumn. Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 am on Friday, 14th March; see their tour stops below.
