Swiss producer NVST has unveiled his new project ‘Dreaming Of Us While Slowly Catching Fire In a Place I Never Belonged’.
Now available, this work showcases the versatile club artist using electronic sounds as a medium for personal reflection. With moments that are both fragmented and clear, the seven-track release sees NVST redefining club conventions, employing the elements in an innovative way.
The track ‘Pages With Flames’ serves as an captivating introduction, while ‘No Bombs’ feels impactful and relevant; ‘The Crash In The Ocean’ presents ambient digital sounds with some disquieting undertones, and the closing track ‘Exportation Of Sound’ concludes with a powerful moment of clarity.
This marks NVST’s first release on the important Brussels-based label Maloca Records, and it serves as a sharp reflection of self-examination.
