The cult London band caroline has returned with "Total euphoria," a richly layered and dynamic track, marking their first new release since the debut album that came out in 2022. The band explained, "The initial version of this song was performed as a trio (Mike, Casper, and Jasper) in 2020 while we were working on our first album. It didn't quite mesh with the music we were creating at that time, but it contained a seed of something we wanted to develop later. Eventually, it became one of those pieces we genuinely enjoyed playing continuously for 20 minutes." They noted, "This particular piece felt especially satisfying as it was consistently vibrant and intense, which was somewhat atypical for us back then, and everyone was playing three different rhythms at once, giving it an endlessly cyclical vibe. We discovered the wonderful potential of how amazing it sounded with Jasper and Magda singing together in harmony, and they crafted additional vocals and harmonies."
