Former DIY cover stars Yeah Yeah Yeahs have revealed plans for a new tour called Hidden In Pieces, featuring performances in the UK, US, and Mexico. The band will showcase reimagined versions of songs from their back catalogue, newly arranged with strings and piano. The setlist is expected to include rarely performed deep cuts as well as YYY’s classic tracks. These 2025 dates will take place in more intimate theater settings, including two nights at the famous Royal Albert Hall in London, marking the band’s 25th anniversary. “Hi, we’ve missed you, they don’t miss you like we miss you,” they shared (their latest album, ‘Cool It Down’, was released in 2022). “The late David Lynch would say: ‘all you need to do is turn on the light and the darkness goes.’ To let our love light shine, we’ll be exploring our back catalogue. We’ll perform songs that are seldom (if ever) played, alongside fan favorites, all with new arrangements to enjoy… and yes, there will be acoustic guitars and strings too. We’d love for you to join us for these intimate shows in beautiful iconic theaters as we celebrate 25 years of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, with no bad seat in the house!” Tickets will be available for purchase at 10am local time on March 21st.
