Wishy Releases New Single ‘Over And Over’

The band's new EP is set to release next month...

Wishy is back with a fresh track titled ‘Over And Over.’

Leading a vibrant new wave of shoegaze from the States, the band is preparing for a UK tour in May.

Scheduled to open for Momma, they are also working on a new project, with the upcoming EP ‘Planet Popstar’ slated to drop on April 25th.

The new single ‘Over And Over’ is available now, featuring a polished 90s sound that evokes memories of the iconic Clueless soundtrack, blending alternative pop elements with a slick finish.

Charming and melodic, it also conveys a bittersweet tone in the lyrics. Kevin Krauter shares his thoughts on the song…

“The central themes include desire, ambition, disappointment, acceptance, and playing the hand you're dealt, etc. I composed this song in 2020 before the band was formed and had no initial plans for a proper recording or release. I was confident that Ben would excel at mixing and producing it, and Nina’s vocals would elevate it even further. It simply had to be a Wishy track.”
