Cian Ducrot is set to release his new album ‘Little Dreaming’ on July 11th.
The songwriter's debut left a significant mark, and with the announcement of this upcoming LP, he aims even higher.
Scheduled for release on July 11th, Cian's new album showcases his independent mindset. He explains:
“This album has been an incredible journey; it has been a fantastic experience. I aimed to be as creative, free, and expressive as possible, and I believe we’ve achieved that. It’s not an exaggeration to say that creating this record has transformed my life.”
The album will be supported by a comprehensive European tour, featuring a series of UK headline performances. It kicks off in Manchester on September 13th and includes a show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on September 17th.
The title track is currently available online, serving as a lively introduction that comes with a widely-discussed video. ‘Little Dreaming’ features actors from two prominent Irish television shows: Lola Petticrew and Hazel Doupe from the highly regarded Disney+ series ‘Say Nothing’, and Chris Walley from the cult comedy ‘The Young Offenders’.
Cian shares his thoughts…
“I love how theatrical this turned out; it truly reflects my personality. It’s about reconnecting with your inner child while also, as an adult, doing what you want, expressing yourself, and not worrying about others’ opinions. I hope to challenge the boundaries of toxic masculinity in the process.”
Tune in now.
