Lex Amor Releases New Short Film FORWARD

Lex Amor has released her new short film titled FORWARD.

The London-based multi-talented artist has recently unveiled her new project ‘FORWARD EVER’, characterized by creative boldness and melodic introspection. By blending various genres and styles, Lex Amor’s work demonstrates intrinsic complexity while remaining profoundly enriching.

She is set to host Concrete Voids at the Southbank Centre in London on April 5th, and has now shared a short film.

Designed to run alongside her recent work, FORWARD was created in collaboration with directors Javon Davis, Caleb Femi, and Charlie Rees. It aims to initiate “a collective conversation about perception, a question regarding certainty, and an exploration of the layers of reality and the human experience," as articulated by Lex Amor in a statement.

“FORWARD occupies a space situated between present and future – where imagination intersects with reality, where new worlds take form, where possibilities begin to stand firm.”

“This vision was made possible through the contributions of Javon Davis, Caleb Femi, and Charlie Rees – directors whose distinctive perspectives merged to produce something entirely original. Each contributed their unique viewpoint, beautifully transforming emotions into tangible expressions. And Shaun Sky – who possesses an incredible talent for expanding ideas and uncovering dimensions we hadn’t previously envisioned.”

“From the crew on set to the actors who fully committed themselves to every moment – everyone collaborated harmoniously, building something greater than any individual could have achieved alone. That energy, that love, that collective spirit – resonates throughout every frame of the film.”

“We aimed for this film to serve as both a statement and a question; an invitation to revisit, to perceive differently, to acknowledge that everything – even what seems most fixed and certain – is perpetually in flux, constantly progressing – for you – forward.”
