      LVRA and Soda Plains have teamed up for their new project, ‘Fortress’.

      The electronic artists met in Berlin last summer, merging their experiences of the city's intricate rave culture with collaborative studio time.

      This period was marked by immense creativity, as LVRA and Soda Plains came together to create a new six-track project. Set to release on April 23rd through Eastern Margins, ‘Fortress’ aims to be cathartic, capturing the essence of two individuals expressing their emotions on tape.

      The new track ‘Hard Decisions’ showcases a compelling blend of their unique styles while developing its own identity; it serves as the ideal introduction, as the production transitions from club influences to more introspective spaces.

      ‘Hard Decisions’ was one of the initial demos we created together, and we immediately felt a connection to it. It embodies a personal and shared struggle that we both relate to on a deep level.

      Soda Plains remarks…

      The process mostly emphasized emotions over genre, frequently reflecting on the tension between internal feelings and external realities. By fostering playfulness, the more we engaged in creative role-play, the more synchronicities emerged.
