The Chicago native makes a strong entrance with his latest project...
Jon Le Vert has made a comeback with his new album ‘wish u well’.
Reflecting his brave and intuitive nature, the Chicago artist infuses an experimental touch into his work. Over the past two years, he has established his own unique path, allowing him to create fluidly while exploring a wide range of sounds, styles, and textures.
In this new release, Vert curates a tracklist that navigates through atmospheric alt-rock soundscapes and trap-influenced productions, boldly blending elements of hip-hop, emo, and electronic music. Highlighting the album is the track ‘renaissance’, which offers a raw, eclectic experience that showcases the rapper's dark delivery. In other tracks, he merges glitchy, otherworldly sounds with introspective lyrics that draw listeners deeper into his artistic vision.
Discussing the album's development, Jon Le Vert states, “I technically began this album about two years ago. It was created quietly alongside my debut project, DARK AGES, which I viewed as a space to learn production, discover my style, and provide some context.” He adds, “It was extremely therapeutic. This is my first genuine effort to create something new and something that I truly enjoy.”
