Julien Baker and TORRES release a poignant collaborative track titled ‘Dirt’.

Julien Baker and TORRES (also known as Mackenzie Scott) have released a new single titled ‘Dirt’, which serves as another glimpse into their upcoming collaborative album ‘Send A Prayer My Way’, set to release on April 18th through Matador Records. This marks the fourth track unveiled from the album, following the previously released ‘Sugar In The Tank’, ‘Tuesday’, and ‘Sylvia’. ‘Dirt’ presents a hauntingly beautiful harmonic exploration of themes such as love, longing, and loss. After performing two sold-out intimate shows at London’s Rough Trade East and St John’s Church last week, the pair is preparing to return to the U.S. to celebrate the album's release with a series of headlining shows. You can find details about their tour plans, listen to ‘Dirt’, and read our recent interview with Julien and Mackenzie (from our March 2025 print issue) below.
