After a year-long hiatus, Black Honey returns with ‘Psycho’ - a hard-hitting new single that draws visual inspiration from sci-fi classics like A Clockwork Orange and Frankenstein. This marks the band's first release since their third album, ‘A Fistful Of Peaches,’ debuted in 2023. They shift their artistic focus from the Wes Anderson-inspired style of that era to something significantly darker. “’Psycho’ evokes a nonsensical, hallucinatory feeling of being a voyeur in a surreal experience,” stated frontwoman Izzy B. Phillips regarding the track. “It explores the idea of whether this life is 'the movie', perhaps poorly scripted, featuring elements of nihilism and escapism while providing a broader perspective on the ordinary, the psychotic, and the existential.” Stay tuned for more updates from Black Honey in the coming months; for now, grab some popcorn and immerse yourself in the cinematic video for ‘Psycho’ below. Additionally, Black Honey has announced a trio of intimate shows in Manchester, Brighton, and London next month - catch their live return on these dates: APRIL 2025 15 Manchester, Night & Day 16 Brighton, Pattern 17 London, Omeara.
