US rock band Momma has released ‘Rodeo,’ the last pre-release glimpse of their upcoming album ‘Welcome To My Blue Sky,’ set to arrive this Friday through Lucky Number/Polyvinyl. This grunge-infused track follows ‘Ohio All The Time,’ ‘Bottle Blonde,’ and ‘I Want You (Fever)’ as the album’s fourth single, reflecting on “the perspective of two individuals [they] somewhat left behind romantically.” Co-songwriters and co-vocalists Allegra Weingarten and Etta Friedman elaborated: “It’s our way of honoring their stories by capturing the feeling of being replaced by someone else. We collaborated with Richard Smith on the video, who suggested featuring us on an ice rink with someone skating around us and a bull chasing her. It aims to evoke the sensation of being at the center of a rodeo ring, feeling like someone is circling you while you struggle to keep pace.” Watch the video here.
