Swedish garage punk sensation The Hives are set to release a new album in 2025, as confirmed.
The beloved band continues to deliver an electrifying live performance and recently entered the studio to create fresh material. They collaborated with producers Pelle Gunnerfeldt and Mike D of the Beastie Boys for this album, which was recorded in their homeland of Sweden.
Here are the key details…
The title of The Hives' new album is ‘The Hives Forever Forever The Hives’ and it will be available on August 29th via Play It Again Sam.
Prior to this announcement, the band held a live-streamed portrait unveiling and press conference from the Marble Palace, Palacio Metropolitano in Mexico City.

The band is showcased in a series of boxing scenes, with director Eik Kockum capturing the action. The Hives shared their thoughts…
"Who in their right mind would start a song like this? No one but The Hives. They are back sooner than you thought and they’ve had enough of everyone at this point. Hence the title. Dig? Dig."
