Common Holly will unveil her new album ‘Anything Glass’ later this year.
The Montréal-based singer-songwriter, known as Brigitte Naggar, is a striking talent who captivates and challenges at every opportunity.
‘Anything Glass’ marks her first studio-recorded album, and it is scheduled for release on Keeled Scales and Paper Bag Records later this year.
Scheduled for June 13th, the songwriter aims to create art that compels listeners “to feel something, create something, do something, and be alive in this ever-diminishing time.”
Her new single ‘Aegean Blue’ is available now, capturing a pivotal moment in Common Holly's emotional journey. Richly crafted, her voice carries a poignant intensity, with every word resonating with the audience.

A confrontation with emptiness and relentless striving. The lyrics emerged during a period of change and reflection. This song aligns with the album's central theme of focusing on what truly matters, taking different approaches when things feel off.
Listeners can hear some of the vocal layering here—since the album was recorded live, many (if not all) of the tracks feature doubled vocals, as I performed live during the recording and later added additional vocals. This quality became a defining aspect of the overall experience of the album."
