The Great Escape, Brighton’s yearly celebration of new music and emerging talent, has announced a new batch of artists for its 2025 lineup. Among the acts added are DIY Class of 2025 members Getdown Services, the psych-rock group Mandrake Handshake, the theatrical quartet Picture Parlour, and many others. In total, more than 175 new artists have been revealed for TGE 2025 in this latest update, raising the total number of acts set to perform on the South Coast in May to over 450. Newly confirmed performers include Courting, Maruja, The NONE, Ugly, and iconic rock band Skunk Anansie. These acts join an already impressive list for TGE 2025, which features Mercury Prize winners English Teacher and this year’s spotlight show highlights: Pete Doherty, Warmduscher, Trampolene, and Rizzle Kicks. The Great Escape 2025 is scheduled to occur from May 14th to 17th at various locations throughout Brighton. Tickets, including options for single day and two-day entries, are available on the festival’s website, along with highlights from last year’s event.
