In an Instagram post detailing the story behind the song, Danielle Haim shared: “Writing it has helped me navigate through tough times, and we felt this might resonate to set the right tone for this summer! I began writing this after a panic attack I experienced the night I returned from tour. I was greatly confused, as I was SO SO SO thrilled about our amazing tour, but being alone with myself terrified me. “After much reflection, I realized that I had allowed a lot of people to dictate how I should live my life, and in my quest to please others, I lost sight of myself.
