Lorde Reveals Upcoming Single 'What Was That'

      Lorde has announced that her upcoming single will be titled ‘What Was That’.

      The New Zealand artist released her last album, ‘Solar Power’, in 2021, and has maintained a low profile since. She contributed a cover of Talking Heads for a charity compilation and later made a comeback by collaborating with Charli XCX on the track ‘girl, so confusing’.

      The two artists performed the collaboration at Coachella over the weekend, during which Lorde also hinted at new music.

      Emerging from her hiatus, Lorde has confirmed that her new single, ‘What Was That’, will be released “soon.”

      The new image was captured by Talia Chetrit, and pre-saves are available now.
