MOSAICS are back with their latest single, ‘Late To The Party’.
The band has been working hard, and their dedication to fostering a community through their performances is starting to yield results. After advancing to the finals of the Isle of Wight New Blood competition among 5,000 artists, MOSAICS embarked on a tour, taking the stage at headline shows nationwide.
Filling the Camden Assembly in London, the band has drawn comparisons to the anthemic writing of Sam Fender and the urgency of INHALER.
The new single, ‘Late To The Party,’ produced by Matt Cotterill (Gazelle, Joe Dolman) and mastered by award-winning engineer Nigel Heath, marks another significant advancement for the four-piece.
Concise, energetic, and purposeful, the sharp riff is complemented by powerful drums, while lead singer Owen Castillo narrates a story of confusion amid the collapse of a relationship. Bursting with intensity, the song showcases what makes MOSAICS desirable – exceptional songwriting delivered with genuine emotion.
Regarding the single, Owen Castillo (lead vocalist) shares...
‘Late To The Party’ reflects the fading remnants of a tumultuous relationship. The emotions are chaotic, the boundaries are blurry, and a complete separation feels inevitable yet unwelcome. You hold onto your soon-to-be ex-partner like a lifeline in a vast ocean, desperately seeking every moment of their attention before they slip away for good.
The song was written rapidly in a half-hour session with Stu. After straying from our usual style in our previous track (‘Different People’ ft James McCartney), we embraced a straightforward indie disco rock vibe.
Tune in now.
