The Sick Man of Europe Reveals Self-Titled Album

      17 · 04 · 2025

The Sick Man Of Europe will release their self-titled album on June 20th.

Recently, the project accompanied Snapped Ankles on tour, delivering a series of tight and powerful performances. The Sick Man Of Europe combines elements of Krautrock with the remnants of post-punk, all while connecting with the UK’s current dystopian ambiance.

In February, they released the ‘Moderate Air Quality’ cassette, with a full-length album expected this summer.

The self-titled album will be available on June 20th through the Leaf Label, and The Sick Man Of Europe is scheduled to perform at major events like The Alternative Escape, Manchester Psych Fest, and Left Of The Dial, among others.

Their new single ‘Obsolete’ is currently available, providing a glimpse into a troubling future—blending humanity with machinery, set against a backdrop of granular monochrome.

“Where does the machine end and humanity begin?” TSMOE posits. “Can we change ourselves in an ever more impersonal world? Each day we feel the urge to adapt and conform, yet it often conflicts with our desire for solitude and introspection. This record stems from that tension.”
