English songwriter Saint Leonard has released his new album ‘The Golden Hour’ in its entirety.
The album originates from a turbulent time in his life, as Saint Leonard departed from his haunted church in Yorkshire to the Sunset Strip in LA. Upon his arrival, he became involved in a cult following a breakup with his “pop star girlfriend.”
After escaping to a secluded cabin in Nashville, he underwent a period of recovery before eventually moving to Berlin.
Shifting away from “an acoustic guitar or any sincerity,” he delved into the captivating darkness of Berlin.
Now available, ‘The Golden Hour’ was crafted in the studios of Gaswerksiedlung in Berlin, where Saint Leonard worked with remarkable creative intensity.
Featured on the album is Brian Eno, who co-wrote ‘The Red Book,’ along with contributions from Alex and Nathan of the Fat White Family.
A daring, atmospheric musical journey, ‘The Golden Hour’ will be vividly presented at London’s Shacklewell Arms on April 30th.
