Fontaines D.C. and Kneecap will come together for a major performance in Belfast this summer.
Fontaines D.C. is currently experiencing significant success, with their 2024 album ‘Romance’ emerging as one of the year's highlights. They have recently played at London's Alexandra Palace twice and delivered an extraordinary homecoming show in Dublin.
The band is set to release a Deluxe Edition of ‘Romance’ and will perform at Finsbury Park in North London this summer, accompanied by several guest artists.
Additionally, they have just announced a special headline performance in Northern Ireland, scheduled for Belfast Vital on August 29th.
The show will feature special guests Kneecap, a Belfast group that is making waves in America, especially after garnering international attention from their Coachella performance.
The two bands share a long-standing friendship, as Fontaines D.C. frontman Grian Chatten is featured on Kneecap’s debut album, ‘Fine Art’.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale starting Friday (April 25th), with early access available for those who subscribe to the mailing list by Wednesday (April 23rd).
